I’m doing something similar, where I can’t find enough high-paying jobs or work for the web design/graphic design fields in Hawaii. I’m relocating out to Las Vegas area to see if I can put myself out there to find better opportunities. Even though I know Hawaii is home, luckily, being young means I can take those calculated risks to put myself in areas with more opportunities.

Although my home state is Florida, I transferred to finish school in Orange County, CA. It was an amazing part of town. I became spoiled with the weather rather quickly. However, once I graduated and no job offers were readily available, I could not afford to stay. Living in Northern Florida now, it is affordable. However, it seems to lack the opportunities I’m looking for. I’d love to settle down in Newport Beach, CA., but don’t really have an idea of how I can do this realistically.
